Written Consultation

Qualified Persons (QP) would want to consult with SCDF Fire Safety & Shelter Department (FSSD) Officers first, before a formal building plan is submitted, on some major technical issues that may have great impact on their building design.

QP may write in to Fire Safety & Shelter Department with a set of plan showing the issues.

Alternatively, the QP may also make on-line submissions through the CORENET e-Submission.

Currently no fee is imposed for such process.

Verbal Consultation

Face-to-face discussion / meeting between the SCDF (Fire Safety & Shelter Dept) consultants & the applicant. The technical issues for each consultation shall be clearly listed on form FSSD-CONS.

Appointment-made Consultation
The applicants need to pre-arrange with the relevant officers for consultation either by letters or through phone calls.
